Question: BOPM Channel Activity

Just a quick question. I recently setup BOPM on my network, and I set its output channel to #services. All appears fine, it scans connecting users from every server on my network (all v3.2.3), while running on the hub/services shell.

(&BOPM) Uptime: 1 day, 19:45:48
(&BOPM) DNSBL: 21 successful lookups from opm.blitzed.org
(&BOPM) Found 1 (HTTPPOST) open.
(&BOPM) Found 1 (SOCKS4) open.
(&BOPM) Number of connects: 2919 (1.11/minute)

So, my question is, is BOPM supposed to PRIVMSG #services some type of scanning output for every user that connects? Just how it would if you ran "BOPM check 1.2.3.4". I first used BOPM a couple years ago and could not remember if it did or not, and I thought I had seen some people mention it did. That's all, just wondering if it was operating correctly, or if I had done somethig wrong perhaps.

I can't actually remember myself, but I think it only reports if it finds a reason to (ie user with an open proxy or whatever)

Yes, it only reports if it finds something.

If you want to scan someone manually, you can type: ScannerNick scan ip.to.scan
