Disabling List

Sorry to reopen your locked topic, Stealth, but you missed something, making half of your answer useless.

What about MLOCKs from services? This method wont work against that.


I hope I have been good enough that I wont be punished too severely for this.

This doesn't make any sense....

If someone really wants his channel to be non-secret, why would he be forced in 32489623 ways to be secret...
I don't see any legitime good reason to do so...

Perhaps to stop spambots from using /list to spam channels? But whatever reason (or excuse), if a user wants his/her channel to be -s, they should be able to. I am sure if they know enough to use the services MLOCK to -s the channel, they probably want it displayed in /list.

Just use AngryWolf's cmdflood module and rate limit the offending commands to 1:1, effectively disabling them for non opers.
