i get this error when trying to start unrealIRCD 3.2.3 on WinXp Pro.

UnrealIRCD/32 chdir:() Unknown Error

Exactly where did this occur at? In the error log file, or when it was starting?

Whats the directory and such you are trying to run it from?

Do you have UnrealIRCd set to run as a system Service, and did you try stopping/restarting it from the Administrative services panel in XP?
