Hiding IP's

Hello, is it possible to hide user IP comepletely, even from IRC Operators?

No, that's not possible.

If you don't trust your opers, they shouldn't have oper privileges... :!:

I aggree. But on a rather large network its just impossible to watch all opers. There are always black sheeps around. :)
It would be nice to be able to block remote opers from seeing real IP's.

There is a quarantine option for the link block to stop opers from other servers getting access on yours... Dunno if this fits the bill.

But i agree with the above, if you can't trust them, they should not have it.

That doesnt seem to make any difference, I am still able to rehash remote servers, see in any channel and see what channels users are on. :?

If you network is so big to have too many opers to watch, then you might want to consider getting more NetAdmins that can help you manage your network. As you probably already know, running an IRC network can (and is) very time consuming. If you cannot manage it yourself, you should have other people help.

Isnt the quarantine; flag broken or something? I remember hearing somewhere that it no longer works.
