i have a strange problem everytime after a netsplit ends and the servers relink , the server that netsplited (died) deops everyone...i'll just paste an example:
(13:47:47) —› quit: (xxx) (xxx.org xxx1.org)
(13:52:49) —› mode: (xxx3.org) sets (-ovoooooooooo blah1 blah2 blah3 blah4 blah5)
and so on he deops everyone :/
this really drives me mad coz all channels lose ops :/

wrong time?
(faq link)
Do '/quote TSCTL ALLTIME' (when all servers are linked), and then compare the 'TStime=<something>' values of each server...
For your problem to experience though, it would mean the clock is very wrong...
If you don't think that's it, then could you paste the TSCTL ALLTIME output to us?
time seems fine..

(17:43:36) -> Server: TSCTL ALLTIME
(17:43:36) -xxx.xxx.org- *** Server=xxx.xxx.org TStime=1124549157 time()=1124549158 TSoffset=0
(17:43:36) -xxx3.xxx.org- *** Server=xxx3.xxx.org TStime=1124549055 time()=1124549057 TSoffset=0
(17:43:36) -xxx1.xxx.org- *** Server=xxx1.xxx.org TStime=1124549055 time()=1124549055 TSoffset=0

That 100 second difference between the first server and the other two could be a problem... no?

Only if the channel is only (<)100 seconds old.

I see the same thing on my server, I'm trying to resolve it by fixing the netspits. The server that looses the modes is the one where the services where kept running.
I'm not sure if it's services related or not
