I think it would be great if someone would enable or add "Quick Reply" boxes to the forums... I feel they are extremely useful, especially for the truely "quick" replies.

Wouldn't it encourage more people to give idiot-quick-replies? :P
We could make it a scientific investigation!

I'll consider enabling it...

Might encourage more idiot replies, but I like them because I think it isn't worth it going to another page for a lot of these replies...

Isn't that what forums are all about?

Seriously, I just hate the extra chewing of my time to go to another page, since at the moment I'm limited to ~2 hours a day :p

I don't understand the problem though, you click on a button (any quote button or a reply button which is both on top and at the bottom), and the page takes 2 seconds to load here... ? :Pp

Where is this setting supposed to be anyway?

same here , i never seen quick reply option in any forum based on phpBB but i saw this thing in vBulletin .

The phpBB with a quick reply I saw was on forums.mozillazine.org

About enabling it, I think that is done in the themes, but I am not sure.

Yeah, I don't think phpBB has it, least, not as a default. Perhaps as a module, who knows.

And syzop, I live in Australia, on a connection near dialup speed :p
