Is it possible to make use of variables in the config ?

this would be very neat if that would work, then you could just make 1 config for
all the leafs on ur net
and just change 1 variable at the top of the file ( the ip )
and add o-lines if needed and it would work

if it aint possible could that be a feature added in , in the future ?

There's currently no such feature.

But it is on TODO for 3.3*, because it can indeed be very useful.

Please read the FAQ-Entry about 3.3 development:

Not so much development so far.

We hoped to get some stuff going in the summervacation, but codemastr got very busy with (school-related) stuff, and I didn't do a thing at that time either! (well, hardly)

I've recently been working on an alternative resolver (well, implementing another existing one), but this is also mainly to fix a sporadic 3.2* bug, BUT this item was one of the major subsystem recodes planned for 3.3*, so it should be counted as activity ;).

Besides that, not much actual coding.

Well if there's going to be a lot of hype about 3.3 (and changes) I would just make it 4.0 :)

No, that would not fit with unreal's record.

Unreal's move from 3.1.* to 3.2.* was huge as well, for a move to 4.* it would almost need a complete redesign.

Unreal will be completely redesigned for version 4.
