i am wondering if there is a way to fully remove the throttle from a user. i need this because i op a channel where we mass kick every user at certain points and when the op is not an ircop is is slow as mollases. i tried using except throttle { mask } but that hasnt helped. any ideas?

That's not possible... yet.

But if you have services you might be able to do something like /cs mkick #chan or /cs clear #chan users.

any chance this could be an upcoming feature? even an oper flag that only removes flood protection. or a user mode.

Yes. This should be in 3.2.4, and I believe it is working in CVS.
