Probably you installed the ircd as a different user than the one attempting to run it. To fix this you have to change the owner and permissions. Use man 1 chown and man 1 chmod to figure out how to do that ;) .

aquanight, I feel bad in pointing out to you that this IRCd is being run on Windows, which last I checked didn't have 'man' :P

it comes down to that.. you need to grant permissions to whatever account unrealircd is running.

this is not normal though, normally it works just fine, I don't know why some users get this weird behavior -- perhaps you fiddled around with permissions?

c:\program files\unreal3.2 -> rechtermuisknop -> eigenschappen -> beveiliging -> en daar dan ergens kloten. En/of ook kloten met c:\program files\unreal3.2\tmp.

(no.. do not PM me ;p)

This topic: [error] Unable to create file 'tmp/***.commands.dll': P, might also be of use. (the command prompt alternative :P)

I think I had a similar error, I'd say, reinstall it.
