Anope Question

Hi i want to put anope ircd services on my ircd but in the installation document it says this
Now type ./Config to start the configuration script. It will ask you a
few questions, and figure out how to compile Anope on your system. If
you are unsure about the answer to a question, use the default value.
how would i do that /config thing

Windows?
You cant. Go find a windows copy of anope. Good luck with that, anope is for nix.
NOTE: To anyone who wishes to point out theres a win port, find me the download link after the anope site got attacked.

Uhm, jason..
Ever since 1.7.3 or whatever it was, Anope has run natively on Windows - there should be a binary up on Sourceforge :p

The funny thing is, is I told him to look on anope.org earlier today...
Apparently, some people don't understand that "Download it from our
SF repository" means "Download it
HERE"

How about the one with the type ".exe (32-bit Windows)"?

but i think thats for linux the documention is the same as the other ones like it has

how are you supposed to do config in windows

run the .exe to install and find the example.conf file , edit to suit then save as services.conf . Idiotproof well maybe :p .

You don't do ./config on windows! the win32 executable is an installer for windows whereas ./config is the installer for linux. Just download the win32 one and run the installer. works for me!
