Maybe im being thick, but can someone tell me how to compile Unreal so that it can support Curl?

well you can first start by reading ~/Unreal3.2/INSTALL.REMOTEINC then you can read previous post involing Curl Installation... which can be found at http://unreal.phpmemx.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=183 .
