i get on Debian this ERROR after typing make:

xtras/regexp/lib -ltre -L../extras/c-ares/lib -lcares -lssl -lcrypto
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lares
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [ircd] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/irc/Unreal3.2/src'
make: *** [build] Error 2



any know what this error is?

I think maybe your compiler's faulty, but quite sure... Because last time I also had it before.
