Hello,

I'm come back...

Yesterday i have installed : Unrealircd and Anope.

Now, i would like to add some feature to my Irc server like :

- A log channel option to use with a log parser (Like Pisg,Onis,... )
- A Mysql services to use channel name on a website.

I know they have for Mysql :

Denora (But they nerver work for me..),
Thales but thales is dead..

And for Logging channel :
Neostats with a LogServ Module.. But i don't need to have so much only to log channel.

I would like to know what do you use ? How do you use it ?

My server run now : UnrealIrcd,Thales,Anope,NeoStats(LogServ load) and Pisg for parse the log file..
But, I don't know if thales is a good solution?
And i hope they have a better solution to log channel?

Because i don't know every possibilities..

I have a other problem :
Pisg parse only the log file they was specified in the pisg.cfg nobody know how to parse each file, to do this automaticaly ?

Many thanks for your help.

P.S: Sorry if my english is bad, i'm speak better french.

Because it's not a question about one services.. (How to use it or install it..)

But a mini pool about the service who are most used by the user.

I would like to compare my solution, with the solution from big site or big irc network..

Nobody ??

I can't believe it !!..
No one use Pisg to produce some stats and give this featur to the irc user ?
(Like that : http://www.botstats.com/ Who provide to user a bot who log the channel and make somes stats.. )

And, what are you using to link your irc network to a website if you don't use something like Denora,Thales ??

Now, Anope work correctly for me (After change some file..)

But, i don't see many stuff to add channel log.. (NeoStats ... i don't like it very much)

What do you know for services?

For stats/services i use several different items.

Services - Anope
Stats - Denora
Other - SQLLog - PHP bot.

Everything pretty much inputs/outputs from the mySQL database, I have a bot that allows opers to search some of the logged data right from chat. Additionaly with a combination of the logging and denora, some heavy administering can be done through scripts. For example, pretty much all my opers go to the website to remove bans, they find it's easier then some of the scripts out there.

As for channel logging (meaning logging the text of each channel) i refuse to do it, it's unethical.

Use an eggdrop or other bot and have it join the channel to log

And, with eggdrop i'm able to join automatically some channel and log it ?

(Like with NeoStats and LogServ ?)

Yes. I've done it before.

(I used a 3rd party TCL script to create mIRC-style logs that I could then use for stats generation.)

Can you explain me how to do that ?

For the moment i use NeoStats with LogServ.
And php script to add a .pisg config file ..

You need to download eggdrop and read the documentation on how to set it up. Then you need to find the logging script and load it into your eggdrop.
