/msg adminserv help
Oh wait. You dont have a services root?
Edit services.conf
Then change to the nick you specified
/msg nickserv register <pass> <email>
(from memory)
If this isnt right, dont blame me I havent used auspice for ages.
Try looking at kickservices (
http://sf.net/projects/kickservices). They are based from Auspice, but with less bugs.
or ircservices - The best services ever.

If I was unkind, I would just brush this off and say RTFM, but I am a (fairly) decent person, so I wont.
Read through your services.conf file, and look VERY VERY carefully at everything. There should be an entry for services root or something. Again, I havent used auspice for yonks so I cant be sure, but who knows.
Let me know how it goes.

This is all from memory, as I don't use Auspice anymore....
In services.conf, there is a line to set the Services Master (the line starts with M: ). If you are the Services Master, and you're looking to add a Services Root Admin, you need to type: /msg AdminServ OPER ADD <nick> SRA
If you want to make them a services co-master, type this (AFTER adding them as a SRA): /msg AdminServ FLAGS ADD <nick> ADDSRA
To recap: Services Master is in services.conf. Services Root admin can only be added by the Services Master or a Services Co-master.
Hope this helps.
Thanks :P
