how do i make channels and that stuff can someone please direct me to a faq or something because i cant find one
ps. i already made the server and also i cant connect to it can someone "please" help me

Firstly, make sure you have read both of these:

Secondly: If your server is all set up, and service.log and ircd.log show no errors, try connecting to 127:0:0:1 on the port you put in the listen section of the config file. IF you can connect via 127.0.0.1 but not your external IP / hostname, check your router / firewall and make sure the required ports are open.

Please note to connect to 127.0.0.1 to see if the IRCd is set up correctly you MUST connect from the computer the IRCd is set up on.
