i edited the config file on the anope services and i click on the anope icon, and nothing happend, and i typed /connect services and my server said no services to link. i think that's what it said.

Firstly you cannot /connect to services.

Secondly if you want to know why nothing happened you will have to try reading the log files Anope writes. And normally Anope doesnt leave a window open upon success anyway since it launches a background process.
