Ok, I have a few Questions?

1. I may be setting up a unrealircd server for some people soon. I have a 512/128k connection, so would the server be (for lack of better word) laggy? The server would have about 20 people on most the time.

2. Is there any like min spec for an irc server with 20 people? If I can i'm planning to run it on a P2 350MHz with 64mb RAM.

3. Is there a way to restrict file sharing to all on the server? and if possible allow file sharing to just one or two people?

1. The line should work for 20 people, if it's not used for anything (or much) else, i.e. no filesharing/heavy surfing/downloading on your part ;p

2. Your server seems a little bit weak. If you don't run anything else on the IRC server, disable spamfiltering etc., use a small linux distro, it could work.

3. You can deny DCC completely, yes.
Anyway: The filesharing won't use your bandwith, DCC is a direct connection between two clients.
