Hello,

I have a big problem with Unreal3.2, I use anope 1.7.3 and I have 2 links and since I installed Unreal3.2, it crash landing without explanation and when I starts again it (./unreal start) it puts:

Possible error encountered (IRCd seemily not started)
=====================================================
Check above for possible errors, and this output of
ircd.log. If you cannot solve the problem, read
Unreal.nfo on where to get support

Could you help me?

If you get a coredump (ls -al *core*, be sure to check the dates to see if they are recent) then you could report it on http://bugs.unrealircd.org.

[Oh and if it turns out to be anope's fault we'll just close the bugreport and refer you to them (usually with a meaningful technical hint ;p)]

I get the same error

I am getting the same error. My ISP decided to upgrade my ups on my server without asking and so when I went there to restart it, unreal would not start again. It was working fine for 2 months. There is nothing in the log file, nor is there any meaningfull error message given and there are no core dump files.
* Loading IRCd configuration ..
* Configuration loaded without any problems ..
* Initializing SSL.

Any help is appreciated!
(I am using Unreal 3.2)

I think this is not a crash. Are you sure you enabled logging of errors? The IRCd stops after displaying the "Initializing SSL" message, which usually means the SSL (.pem) files are missing. Then this error should be logged by the ircd.

Or if it's really a crash, this might help: http://www.angrywolf.org/bugs.php (section 1.4.2, from where it says "If your server gets crashed and doesn't dump a core file, ...").
