Code: Select all

ERROR: ERROR :Closing Link: [67.15.**.*] (Throttled: Reconnecting too fast) -Email [email protected] for more information.)
This is a very wierd error on my server ... reason being every one gets this error msg .. and No one is reconnecting to fast. It even does it to me .. and i have my host mask set as exempt. Im pretty much clueless on it .. Ill have to restart the server to have it stop doin that , and that last about 2 days or so.
Im running unreal 3.2 on mdk 2.4 hosting to about 200 / 400 users
with 2ghz & 512 ram ... Even wierder thing is once it starts throttling ppl after about a day of it it starts effecting the other servers linked .. and eventually the other servers start saying the same error msg.

The Throttle error starts around the first 17 - 30 days of uptime
im leaning more to my os's side being the prob then unreal , but any one have a clue as to go about fixing this.

If i overlooked a topic with the same prob sorry

I am having the exact same problem. The folks trying to connect defnitely arent throttling but they are being throttled, the problem corrects itself if I restart but starts happening again after a couple of days, and indeed thr problem seems to spread to the other servers. Everything that this guy said in his post is EXACTLY what's happening so I wont repost it all, just re-read the first post in this thread.

MY throttle block is set to 7 in 1m.

I have searched the forums for this problem, read the FAQ, and read the documentation, so please lets not have any completely useless replies that say something like "read the FAQ" or "This topic has been discussed already, search the forum". I have searched the forum, if I am somehow overlooking a post that actually has an answer, a link to that thread would be more helpful than "search the forum".
