Is there a command for users that have an O:line to add a hostmask themself or does the administrator/owner have to go in and do it manually??

Do you mean /sethost?

If you mean oper::from, no, there isn't, and I doubt any commands will be implemented in UnrealIRCd which you can edit your configuration files with, however if you like using only commands to manage your operators, have a try at my "opers" module from http://www.angrywolf.org/.

By the way, please don't write multiple question marks unnecessarily. Perhaps in your country they mean something other than indicating that you were nervous, or the question was absolutely important, and you need a quick answer, but in English that isn't the right manner of speech.

codemastr: Im not sure what that command does.. In the documentation it says: "Lets you change your vhost to what ever you want it to be". What is vhost?

Vhost stands for virtual host(name). A vhost hides your actual hostname, and shows a fake one of your choosing.

AngryWolf, I'd just like to ask... why that comment on punctuation? As you can no doubt see, I have my own characteristics (The use of "..." and excessive use of commas, being two of my traits)

I mean, did it bother you that much or...?

1. "..." is not excessive, it's an exception, and has a special meaning.
2. Excessive use of question marks often shows your:

• a) insanity,
  b) offense against someone,
  c) obvious lack of education in basic grammar.

Was it demonstrative enough?

But if you don't agree with me, then ok, I'll stop warning people about punctuation.

Lol, really I dont mind, I was just a bit curious... I don't use question marks much myself, but when I do, they tend to be in profusion. Similar to my exclamation marks
