I get this error now after I setup everything.

Unable to Connect to Server (Connection refused)

and I port forwarded also.

Have your forwarded the ports in the listenblock correctly? If so, if you're trying to connect to your own computer (where the server is running), try connecting to 127.0.0.1

Thanks a lot man, but I want other people to be able to connect to my server too. So how do I make it so I can connect and others can?

That will only work for you, 127.0.0.1 . Others (outside your LAN) can connect to your external IP address or hostname if you have one.

OK do I put 127.0.0.1 for both of them or 127.0.0.1 and my IP Address?

I really begin to wonder how good your networking skills are.

In summary:
For yourself:

For others that want to connect OUTSIDE of your LAN:
[li]Let them connect to your external IP address[/li]

If you don't know what it is, look here. It's the upper line.

It seems to me we have already discussed this in the support channel (and DO NOT say it was someone else, because I've checked and it's the same)

In order to run an IRCd you MUST learn the basics of networking. This is required to run a server of any type, weather you're on Windows or *NIX.

This thread is getting locked. When you learn some about networking, start a new one about a different problem (if you ever get one). Don't start a new thread about this!
