Hi all. I have a few servers linked up and one of my staff admins is having his shell redone, meaning they change the passwd's of their customers as a security procedure, but the server is still up and working, its just his shell is locked out. His IP changed and he needs to get opered up but we cant access the shell via ssh. So would it be possible to do it with /addline? Its not like we're trying to redo the entire oper block, just edit the IP. How is this done? Thanx in advance!

/addline can only ADD lines to the config, not edit them.

Also if he cant access the shell via SSH, how on earth is he going to be able to upgrade, Unreal, edit the config, etc...?

Not being able to access his shell is something he should probably take up with his hosting company. There is really no reason a hosting company should change your password for you and not give you the new one.
