ok, on my config i have

oper aXXo {
   class           clients;
   from {
      userhost *@*;
   };
   password "mypass";
   flags
   {
      netadmin;
      can_gkline;
      can_gzline;
      can_zline;
      can_restart;
      can_die;
      global;
   };
};

and when i type /oper identify mypass i get

[22:42] No O-lines for your host

any ideas?

try to type it just the sameway as you put it in the conf like this:

/oper aXXo mypass
