I made up the config file and i dont want to buy a shell. SO i am setting up my old computer to run it all the time. BUT its not even working on my new computer.
if you need exactly what is happening a little command prompt pops up for a split second then goes away. That is only when i click WIRCD and then the icon on my desktop nothing happenes.
EDIT: im am using the win32 build not source.

well first, im not a win32 guru, at least as far as UnrealIRCd goes, but it should still create an ircd.log file. you can also open a cmd prompt and cd to the unreal dir and run it from there. that should stop the window from closing.

Please follow the directions there, and you'll see why Unreal is not starting.
