Operserv killclones

Sorry but is it me being thick is the /msg operserv killclones nick command available on unreal or do it require a module I just get unknown command after trying to use it

Well, just to clarify things for you, the /msg is a client command usually an alias for the PRIVMSG command, "OperServ" in the command you gave is the nick of a bot, thus it should be assumed that said bot needs to be provided by something. Usually it's some sort of services package that provides OperServ such as Anope.

Officially, killclones was replaced years ago with session limits. Killclones is very static and inflexible where as session limit is very dynamic and configurable on the fly. Killclones allowed opers the ability to quickly kill clones where as sessions don't allow clones to connect in the first place. You might also check on limiting you max connections per ip in you config file. The manual can explain it for you.
