Dear people,

I have a problem on my server. I have banned someone from the server because he didn't behave, but he has a dynamic IP adress, so he can get on the server a few seconds later. Is there a way to ban him forever? I saw something about the spamfilter, that you can ban him with that, if so can someone explain that to me.

Give us examples of his hosts/realnames (a WHOWAS list will be good)

I don't think you have anything with that, every time he comes in with the nick Gast237 or Gast261, his realname is the same as his nick..

This are not even all his IP's, he has 92.69.xxx.xxx, 188.xx.xxx.xxx, 178.xx.xxx.xxx and besides that also like 30 other providers with dongle:P

No, can't do that. There are other people who are using such nicks. That's the hard part..

That mask doesn't ban nicks, it bans usernames. Secondly, spamfilter isn't going to know the difference between good guys and bad guys either. You need to find a part of the address that only the bad guys use and ban that.

Bottom line is whether G:Line or spamfilter, it's going to affect everyone that matches.

Well, we are now in a legal conflict with him. In our country it's against the law to break your way in something what isn't allowed. So, I think that's harder for him, haha. Thx for the info
