freebsd versions

I see in the official documentation that the current release of 3.2 is supported on freebsd 4, 5, and 6. Is there anyone that has unreal working fine on freebsd 7 or 8?
Unofficial answer, it should work on all or most all modern POSIX compliant systems and all server based versions of Windows.
Official answer, it probably hasn't been tested on said versions or the docs are out of date. Try it and if you have issues, let us know.
