please take your time with me. im doing this so i can open my own irc.servername.com
i am at the part where you combine anope with unreal i think. i open unreal and i see , server 1 , and theres is no users no other things. i now i think i should do the connection between anope.. but i dont know how, it got really hard. i edited the .conf and it was succesful . now i think i should edit it again or what ? i also tryed to connect to my server ,but i could not connect , it was not working

and do i need to pay for . irc.mynamehere.com ???? do i need to pay at all for in order to have my irc ?? do i need to use shell ??? what happens after i connect anope and unreal ?

as u see , i reallyyyy need help . i am determined to create this irc server for funn. can u bare with me and help me make it ???

You'll need to buy a domain from a registrar to have irc.mydomain.com. There are hundreds of registrars, just pick one. You will need DNS to assign DNS records to your domain, you will need a shell/vps/dedicated server to run your server. There is a massive amount of stuff you need to know to run even a simple public server.

If you are doing this for fun I suggest you download the installer package for your OS and play with it locally until you know how to link servers and know what the commands do. That can be done for free.
