Hello
i have freebsd server with 100mbps connection speed
i make unrealircd and its work fine but the max connection is 1000users i want more.. if anyone know how to do it .. dont give me a psycho website hehe i read but.. i want yo to teach me how to do it .. in the unrealircd.conf i see the max i keep it 5000 and i rehashed the ircd but the same problem...

The easiest solution is just to run multiple servers.

We can show you how to do it but thats not us teaching you . Its us fixing your problem .

This page http://www.dal.net/admin/vote/seceval.php3 was made by the dal.net team for the bahamut ircd server to get the most out of FreeBSD 4.X. I think most is valid for UnrealIRCD as well since its OS based configuration that is made there along with security tips. I think it was writen for version 4.6 or something so all tweaks are not in 4.10 or they are there from the start. So take a look at it. I have taken parts from it and used it on my server but since I dont have that many connection on my server I havent been able to test it and see if it helps to hold more clients.
