Ok... mmm- I'm trying to install Unreal without the installer
I have all the required files that the install contains but Unreal will not start.. I just get a service error- is there anyway I can get Unreal to work without using the install?

Open a DOS prompt, change to your unreal dir, type "unreal uninstall", press enter, then run wircd.exe

Not sure if that will fix your problem, but it's worth a try.
