Hello

Now i am using Mysql and anope makes .db files how to get remove the .db files

anyone can help i have tryed to look in the services .conf an foudnd this

# UseRDB [OPTIONAL]
#
# Enable this if you want anope to load its data from a remote database.
# (e.g. MySQL)
#
# UseRDB

If i uncomment this an delete all .db files an shutdown services an start it again the i ONLY makes my password to a new one i dont no what or where

BUT

if i dont uncomment it an shutdown services at start it again then i works but still makes .db files

anyone have any idea what the heck to do please help me

(Seems like this question is the same as in the MYSQL Anope topic, so I don't have an idea why a new topic has been opened.)

See docs/MYSQL, the "Introduction" section will tell you the answer. By the way, I wouldn't mind that much if db files are created. You can use them as backups that are used when the MySQL database is inaccessible, or when you decide not to use MySQL anymore.

i have do everything ís says in that file an nothing helps is there another module that can use sql whit out the .db file

UseRDB shall dump the data from the MySQL tables to your .db files.

you need the .db files, always.

that feature still on development

and.. I don't know if someday we will release it
