Arabic characters support in nicknames

Hello IRC Gurus,
Thanks for the wonderful work on UnrealIRCd, as I have been using it for years on different network. I am now doing my own server using the latest version 5.0.9 on Debian 10 and I am struggling with a problem in Arabic characters in nicknames and rooms names. I have checked the link about the supported char set and its configuration but can't find arabic. Is there a way to enable it, even by changing part of the code ( If anyone can guide me where it is located and I will try to deal with it).
I have seen a running server using arabic characters in nicknames but it was the old version 3.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
