Unreal 3.2.1b

Hi i recently installed UnrealIRCd 3.2.1b and copyed my old config into the directory, The problem i have is that unreal willnot start, when i restrat my computer, when i open wircd.exe it wont execute. Does anyone know why?

No I don't know why, because you haven't given us any details about the problem - namely look in service.log for anything interesting

I think it's ircd.log if you aren't running UnrealIRCd as a service. (Just look for any *.log files
)

lol dagger...
ive compiled the 3.2.1b source and it runs on my pc fine, it fixed the dll errors i was having, but i tried giving it to a friend and it wont run. i install the service and when i go to start it it says that unreal did not respond in a timely fashion. or something like that. there is also no ircd.log or service.log file. im using windows xp, and so is my friend.

You say your using your old config file . From what version of unreal ? .
Try installing unreal not as a service . That way you get the gui up in windows and you can access the log directly from there .

hi there.
i've got the same probleme as the threadstarter.
i run the wircd.exe but except of a loading process of 2-3 secs nothing happens. no gui, nothing ;/
my services.log tells me that everything is oke:
* Loading IRCd configuration ..
* unrealircd.conf:341: Ignoring extra close brace
* unrealircd.conf:341 Ignoring extra semicolon
* unrealircd.conf:272: listen with SSL flag enabled on a non SSL compile
* Configuration loaded without any problems ..
hum... well. not thah perfect my .conf, but it says "loaded without any problems".
im running unrealircd on a win2k machine.
help

Start a new thread for a new problem... it's not the same issue, i think.
Your log says there are 3 problems!
Fix them.

Well, yes, interpret "problems" rather as "serious problems".
