Thanks for the answer. True, sorry, I forgot.
Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition ( Not R2 )
Although, I think the coders of UnrealIRCd should atleast check their application one a month on all windows versions, it's easy to setup a virtual PC for testing.
It's weird that I have this problem ...

.PANIC ERROR!. (due to windows update patch 2006-09-13)
UnrealIRCd 3.2.5. no longer is able to run as a windows "Service" after tonight's patches! I tried to submit this as a bug but it was too complicated, my login didn't work, yada yada yada...
...anyway, If I'm correct on this error, I think this is and will be some major issue for many servers ...

Thank you for great answer. But I still think I should be allowed to ban as broad as I want or atleast an option to set in the configuration to be able to allow the admins who want to use broad bans to use it. If it's "MY" IRCd, I should be able to decide how to ban, not the creators of the IRCd ...

How to ban IPs which don't resolve to hostnames ?
When people from some countries connect to my server, they have no "hostname", probably some ISP related issue for them. How can I "disallow" people who don't have "hostname" ? Is it possible ?

[error] Too broad mask.
Hello,
As the owner of a server, why can't I use bans which are as broad as I want ? I keep getting this error "*** [error] Too broad mask". What if I want to gzline ALL countries except ONE. This happens specially when I try to ban a whole ISP.
Any solutions or idéas how to do such things ...

anope : How to hide services showing as online operators
Is there anyway to hide the anope services and prevent them to show as opers ? "10 operator(s) online" <--- that I mean. I have only "one" real person but 9 others are services.

anope : How to use /ns /cs instead of /msg Nickserv etc...
Hi,
I was wondering how to use /ns instead of /msg NickServ ? I have the following line in my unrealircd config :
alias BotServ { type services; };
alias ChanServ { type services; };
alias HelpServ { type services; };
alias HostServ { type services; };
alias MemoServ { type services; };

To UnrealIRCd guys : Don't put your email out there ?
Guys, if you do not intend to reply to emails, why even put them online ? I seen many people emailing you and never to get an answer back. You should just remove them from the site and redirect everyone to the forums :) Sending people to /dev/null isn't nice ;) heheh..... just a suggestion though ...
