Help! LocOps, Link denied for services, No link block named

Post by Southy »

I am using Anope IRC Services and I've been trying to get them to connect to my irc server and work. I edited the services.config file to the specifications of my server and yet when I try to run ./services I get a notice (from irc on another computer logged on the irc server as netadmin) that looks like this...

-irc.testing.net- *** LocOps -- Link denied for services.testing.net([email protected]) (No link block named 'services.testing.net') [@127.0.0.1.33137]

I dont know what to add/change to fix this... any help is appreciated. Thanks.

As the error message says, you don't have a link block in unrealircd.conf named services.testing.net - you need one. If you don't know what this means, I suggest you read the documentation, FAQ, and the linking tutorial in the Support forum.

Or maybe you did add one but forgot to /REHASH.
