you could use host serve from your services.. But you really should be running 3.2.3
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Have a look into /chghost.

And you really should upgrade, a lot of bugs have been fixed, including a crash exploit.

Unreal3.2-beta17 is no longer supported. Upgrade immediately.

kucha :wink: but i'm done upgrading, IRC services UP, but..still havin some issues to fix...like :

""" I create the bot: IRCBOT![email protected] (Rap Bot from #B) added to the bot list.
Now, I'm assigning the bot to #channel1: Bot IRCBOT has been assigned to #channel1.
* IRCBOT has joined #channel1
CPU usage goes to 100% -> anope.exe
* IRCBOT Quit (myserver.com Services.myserver.com)

And got the *** Notice -- Max SendQ limit exceeded for Services.myserver.com[myip]: 1000034 > 1000000
and boom: *** Global -- Closing link: Max SendQ exceeded - Services.myserver.com[myip]

Services delinked...anope.exe closed.
What is the problem? Is a anope bug? or the problem comes from other soft?
I'm using anope with unrealircd 3.2.3.
"""
I posted this on anope's forums but still no answer...
And another thinggie is the next one..
I set a vhost to a nick via Botserv
I'd like to set vhosts to a group, butt....i should use a variable in adding vhosts, right? else all users logging in to nickserv would have the same vhost.... somethin like $nick $+ .guests.of.myserver.com
aight? :)
How should i set this thinngie to the hostserv?
BTW: 10x for the previously answers guys

kucha wrote:about beta17 & upgrade: in my opinion, it is only admin's matter if upgrade his herver or not.. I think that many who I see using 'old' servers are actually coders who have made a separate 'branch' of ircd and those critical exploits are far faaar away
This is completely incorrect, because in 99% of the cases those people are not aware of certain security fixes (since we do fix >75% of the security issues BEFORE there are known & exploited by others).

I really suggest you to stop making such statements, they are so wrong and you are bringing other people in danger if they believe you.

Thank you for your understanding.
