To hide: If I were you, I wouldn't recommend that. That way of starting the server might be easier, but it actually makes much more difficult to stop it. Think about a box that has 5 Unreals running.
*Shudder* The only way then would be to hope they were different users, guess and kill, kill them all, or /die. None but the last are very appealing... Maybe unreal shoud dump a unreal.pid on its own, rather than with the script?
