can I somehow use whowas(not exactly this command, I used it for example) to find not by nick but by ident or IP address? like /whowas *!*@somenet.com

Retrieves previous WHOIS information for users
no longer connected to the server.

Syntax: WHOWAS <nickname>
WHOWAS <nickname> <max number of replies>
Example: WHOWAS hAtbLaDe

That feature is on TODO btw (but will not appear anytime soon, just a general comment).

yeah i requested this a while back on the bugs website,
but more so along the lines of the who command except it was
/whowas +h *.isp.com
kinda idea,
i spend 4 hrs a day gaming and 14hrs on irc, for 5days a week, im not an addict :D
