Problem with aliases

I have a problem with aliases too....tried all commonly used .conf files (anope, generic, aliases, ircservices) it rehashes fine and when i type /cs or /ns or whatever i get, ERROR > 412: No text to send. but when i add a parameter as in /ns help it does nothing. did i forget a compiling option or something ?

Split - please use a new topic for a new issue.

As to your problem, perhaps your client or script is doing funny things - try /raw ns help or /quote ns help and see if that helps.

/raw does nothing too....and as for the client im using....mirc 6.16 + invision addon.....the aliases do work on other server just not on my own.
(using unreal 3.2.3 + ssl + anope services)

thnx.....that fixed it.....there was a stupid typo in the unreal config :S
my bad.....thats what you get when you copy configs and dont set everything the way it should be.
