When I set a limit to ircd.log, simply it finishes recording? or erase from the beginning of the file the old logs?
I have not had time to prove this, my file has much so huge. I need to setup a limit to this file, but I don't know how it works.
¿?

If you don't make mistakes, you aren't really trying.

log::maxsize is an optional directive that allows you to specify a size that the log file will be wiped and restarted .
Got it. For me it would be better than it erased of the begining, or simply create a new file. Now I will have to check it every day.
Thanks a lot.

I use newsyslogd (man newsyslog.conf) to rotate my unreal logs. It keeps a weeks worth.
Why the hell can't my signature be empty?
