Broken pipe

It doesn't seem to matter how I compile UnrealIRCd or what options I use to compile it or what version I compile, seems that as soon as I oper up I start getting 'Broken pipe' errors.

I've tried to use the forum search but since it appears to be such an outdated phpBB the search function return no msgs that meet the search criteria 'broken pipe'.

Anyone know the cause and or solution?

I'm thinking that maybe it's a configuration issue, I've added irc.xxxxx and hub.xxxx to DNS and they do resolve but didn't solve the error.
