I look at the log and there is :

[Tue May 4 18:49:15 2004] - Cannot open stream socket() xf007.ath.cx[]:Address family not supported by protocol
What i have to do ?

Any 3.1.x, 3.2 beta, or 3.2 RC is no longer supported. Why?
3.2 Final is released!
In other words, upgrade.

My best guess would be somehow, you tricked your system into letting Unreal compile with IPv6 support, even though your system doesn't support IPv6.

I'm getting a similar error. I had a working config before I upgraded my kernel from 2.4 to 2.6. I'm running 3.2.2b. I changed my domainname in the error below to yyy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Cannot open stream socket() irc.yyy.us[]:Address family not supported by protocol

Upgrade Unreal, older versions than current are not supported.
Thanks!.
