/msg ChanServ vs /cs problem

Hey y all

I have a problem with commands:
my /cs, /ns, ect ect don´t work, and i don´t get any notices about...

the commands /msg chanserv, /msg Nickserv, ect ect work´s fine.

I have compiled and compiled but i dont get any closer to fixing the problem.

My server is runing on: Unreal.3.2 with Anope 1.6.5 services

In my unrealircd.conf i have this:

/* Standard aliases */
alias NickServ { type services; };
alias ChanServ { type services; };
alias OperServ { type services; };
alias HelpServ { type services; };
alias StatServ { type stats; };
alias ns { nick nickserv; type services; };
alias cs { nick chanserv; type services; };
alias ho { nick hostserv; type services; };
alias os { nick OperServ; type services; };

but my problem is still there.

hope any one have the selution to my problem...

Is your services-server set correctly in your unrealircd.conf? (pointing to correct services server name and all)

Also, does '/raw NS HELP' work? If that worked but normal '/NS HELP' didn't, then it's something with your IRC client.

on command: /raw ns help i get this: Server: ns help

on command: /ns help i get nothing.

and all my commands works, but not without /msg.

i belive i set up Services server correctly i unrealircd.conf, it is linking and all, and i dont get any errors on startup.

when you say " my IRC client " what IRC are you talking about then. my mirc? - other users on my server have the same problem.

or is " my IRC client " my ircd aka Unreal ??

In my past experiance (not so sure too much anymore) the set::services-server value is case sensitive so if your services server name is services.yournet.tld and you put Services.yournet.tld that wouldnt work. You can check it to make sure but ive seen situations where that has been the case.

I wasnt talking about the link block im talking about the set { services-server "Services.myircdnetwork.acb"; }; value.

I get it now.

but now i get a : Services are currently down. Please try again later.

And my my server is closed the connection to services.

Hey all and jobe1986

I found the problem.

i my services.mynetwork.abc i spelled the adess wrong.

ex: services.myentwork.abc

the right spelling did it all.
