Post by DOSX »

This thing Is how to change the thing Is available for help to for example AFK or Eating or things like that or Bussy bacause you can be helping someone else with something.

[name] is [Hidden] * [Name]
[name] is using modes +Modes +More Modes
[name] is connecting from [a location] [andthe IP]
[name] on [Channel]
[name] using [more irrelevant info] [more irrelevant info]
[name] is a Network Administrator
[name] is available for help.
[name] has been idle [Hidden], signed on [Hidden]
[name] End of /WHOIS list.

Things I have done:

Read the whole Documentation while settng the Server up but when I needed the "is available for help" thing then I just searched for that
Also searched trough the FAQ for the same thing
Searched at the forum for "is available for help" and looked trough the 34 sides I got as a reply to my search.

---------------------------------

also the [things] like [hidden] are for not telling what name I use.
And the reason why all that is there when Im hiding things is so people can more clearly see that this is respond to the /whois command

Wow, a little overboard on the [hidden] thing?

Anyway, if you don't want it saying "is available for help", take off usermode +h

Sure I could give it a try but I forgot the command xD
and also is there a way to change it?

Edit: I have also seen this:

[Name] [Server]Where are you?
[Name] dead
[Name] is away : dead
[Name] has identified for this nick
[Name] End of /WHOIS list.

To set your self as away (and hide the available for help line while youre away) type /away AWAYMESSAGE and to set yourself back type /away with no message.

Also for the other command do you mean this:
"/nick [Nickname]|Away"

Cuz that's also a way of showing that you are away :P
