Conflict with Unreal and Oddcast

Post by BlakesDesigns »

I installed Unreal and Anope services yesterday and found that one of the two was causing Oddcast not to send audio to the Icecast server that streams the audio. I checked with the netstat command, and I was connected to the audio server on port 4271. Neither Unreal nor Anope are using that port. Is there anything I can do to still run the IRC server and not interfere with Oddcast?

There is nothing in either Unreal or Anope that will interfere with another application unless said other application is trying to use the same port as Unreal for something. So I would suggest you check your Oddcast config
