You can't disable them. You can disable the prefixes, but that's it.

I've heard, however, that you can stop Anope from using them on a per-channel basis by switching off XOP and setting AUTOPROTECT to disabled (maybe PROTECTME as well?):

Code: Select all

/cs SET #Channel XOP OFF
/cs LEVELS #Channel DISABLE AUTOPROTECT

aquanight has already told you what's all you can do. Those channel modes cannot be disabled. However, would you mind telling us why don't you want them? I'm asking this, because with some luck we could find an alternative solution.

YUCK Patui... x.x

(/me goes to find that yuck smilie again...)

Seriously, what's wrong with the +q/+a?

There probably are service packages that don't use those modes (I think Cygnus is one) but other than that, seriously why wouldn't you want the +q and +a?
