Remote MOTD by URL?

I have remote includes on and its working normal (I use it for config), however I can not get remote urls to work for MOTD files?
How do you go about using remote url's for motd/rules and such so it can be synced across network easier?

Is there no support for this? Seems kinda odd to have include "" support for remote url's but not motd/rules :/

As the description of remote includes suggests, the remote feature is only available for includes. MOTD and rules files arn't included. So if you want to use remote motd's or rules files youll need to use a crontab'ed script to automatically download them. Then rehash the IRCd.
