NickServ
Hi
I'm fairly new to setting up an IRC server. I downloaded and started configuring today for a farily simple SSL setup.
Right now I'm having trouble making nick authentication work. What I want to do is to get the /nickserv command to work.
Right now it only says:
Services are currently down. Please try again later.
When I try it.
I want it set up so that users can't join channels if they are not authenticated, and they should be disconnected after one minute.

No, most IRC Services packages support multiple IRCd's HOWEVER those that support unreal do so completely with the exception of those that are no longer maintained.The_Mayhem wrote:Ok that's good to know. Will try that tomorrow.
I have also found another pack of services that should work with Windows, do not have the name handy right now though. I'll drop a line when I do.
Is the ircservices pack developed specifically to fit with unreal btw?
IRCServices and Anope are 2 that support Unreal 3.2
