Before I post on the bug tacker, I would like to know if I'm the only one who gets a lot of crashes with Unrealircd 6.2.3 on Windows ?
6.2.1 was super stable; I've tried the two release candidate versions of 6.2.3 and noticed it would often crash.I hoped the bug would be corrected in the final version but that doesn't seem to be the case because after running unreal for a few minutes to a few hours, the server would crash...
I've analyze the memory dump file with windbg and every single time, the issue is caused by
"FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: INVALID_POINTER_READ_c0000005_99FAD608.reputation.dll!Unknown"
I've tried to make a clean install of unrealircd (delete everything in the installation folder except for the "conf" subfolder and reinstall) but that didn't solve the problem.
The machine runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021; so it has access to security updates from Microsoft until 2032.
Anyone is having crashes with version 6.2.3 on Windows ?

Indeed, the 6.2.3 windows version has a bug that causes it to crash under some circumstances after X minutes. It didn't crash on my machine and neither at someone else that I know, but the bug is real so it is entirely logical that would crash on some machines... just depends a bit on circumstances.
If this issue was reported during the release candidate phase then I would have been able to fix it before release, which would have been nice ;D
I see you have figured out already that 6.2.4-rc1 was released. You can indeed use that one. Or wait for 6.2.4 stable a few weeks later. Have fun!
