Ya prolly already found this...
When I start unreal3.2.1 on Win32 (XP Pro/Home) it doesnt eat up 100% CPU right away... and only begins to do so when I attempt an SSL connection to it. This problem was ONLY found when infected with spyware. ((Yeah, I got a test machine and loaded some spyware on it -- cool!)) seems that it only had problems when connecting to itself (/server 127.0.0.1 in mirc) and only on SSL. Weird. Problem was, i could connect, but the spyware was screwing with the packets thinking it was for Internet Explorer. Havent had the CPU problem on a good clean machine.
Enough of my rambling lol...
Any idea when Unreal-3.2.2 will be released?
Unreal3.2.1(Win32) (not the B release)
lol
lol the problem wasnt with Unreal tho. It was with spyware but the point of posting it was to alert users that 100% CPU usage on load doesnt mean its unreal's fault. Check your PC's for spyware regularly just to be sure. Spyware pisses me off, though I've never been infected *knock on wood*.
Reason for testing spyware'd machine: suggestion from a friend
Conclusion: some browser-hijacking spyware or the ones that screw with ur "proxy" stuff in the registry can really f*** up Unreal's connections.
Conclusion: use the *nix version of Unreal if possible LMAO.
======When is 3.2.2 release???
